Two Special Talks were organised by the NSS Unit number 224 on Mindfulness Eating for faculty; and Healthy Lifestyle for Students on 24.12.2024. The sessions of talks were delivered by Prof. S. M. Prasad, Assistant Professor and Head, Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, Sadakathullah Appa College, Tirunelveli.
An MoU was signed between Aladi Aruna College of Liberal Arts and Science, Tenkasi and Banyan Academy of Leadership in Mental Health, Chennai on 20.12.2024 on the Manonmaniam Sundaranar University campus. The Vice Chancellor Dr. Chandrasekar; the Secretary of Aladi Aruna College of Liberal Arts and Science Dr. Poongothai Aladi Aruna; Ms. Kavya Balaji, the trustee; Dr. K. S. Ramesh, the Director of Banyan Academy of Leadership in Mental Health, Chennai, Dr. Yuvaraj, the Head of the Department of Psychology, MS University; Dr. P. Abukaniba Meeran, the Principal of Aladi Aruna College of Liberal Arts and Science were present during the important event.
National Service Scheme (NSS)
The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit number 224 was
inaugurated in Aladi Aruna College of Liberal Arts and Science (Co-Ed.),
Alangulam, Tenkasi District on Monday, 9th December 2024 on the
college premises.
The Five Day Faculty Development Programme was organised from 4.11.2024
on our college campus. Resource Persons from various Institutions delivered
talks on topics pertaining to NAAC, Teaching-Learning Process, Technology
enabled classrooms, Emotional Quotient for Faculty etc. Teachers and
non-teaching staff participated in the FDP.
Students of Aladi Aruna College of Liberal Arts and Science (Co-Ed) participated in Kabaddi and Cricket in the C.M. Trophy held at Tenkasi District in the month of October 2024. Outperforming students namely, Parameshwaran M and Boobalan S were selected at the State Level C.M. Trophy held in Chennai Nehru Indoor Sports Stadium
